Where do we meet at Split airport, and how does the pickup actually work?

What happens if my flight is delayed?

The Saxdor carries an infrared night camera, so we run Stari Grad after dark — a 23:40 landing is fine. Departures after 21:00 carry the +25% night rate listed on this page. If the delay rolls into the next day, we move the transfer instead of keeping your deposit. Weather is the real limit, not the clock: if we cancel, the 30% deposit comes back in full.
Is the boat really faster than the ferry to Stari Grad?
- Door to door it's about seventy minutes: ten in the taxi, fifty on the water, ten loading. We tie up on the town quay in Stari Grad. The public route means a bus into Split, a check-in buffer at the port, then roughly two hours on the car ferry — and the fast catamarans mostly serve Hvar Town, not Stari Grad. Realistically three and a half to four hours, if a sailing lines up with your landing. A hard afternoon maestral stretches our crossing to sixty-five minutes.
How much luggage fits? We're a family with big suitcases.
- On the Saxdor — €650 for the boat, not per person, VAT included — eight guests with a hold case and a cabin bag each is fine. Hard cases go in the cabin and the bow locker. Eight oversized cases is not; tell us at booking and we plan around it. The TechnoHull RIB is €450 and quicker, but storage is open and you get spray, so we cover the bags. Soft ones travel better. Bikes, boards or a pushchair: ask first.
