Private Boat Tours from Split: How Our Day Trips Work
A private boat tour from Split means one boat, one skipper, and your group. No shared benches, no fixed schedule, no waiting for strangers to come back from lunch. You tell us what you want — swimming, towns, a long konoba lunch, a fast run — and we build the day around it. Two boats, two skippers, both from Brač.
Prices are per boat, not per person. Group tours run about €120 per person: six people pay €720 and share the deck with everyone else who booked. Six people on our €800 Hvar & Pakleni day pay €133 each and get the whole boat — the route, the swim stops, the music. At eight guests it is €100 each. Below four people, a group tour is cheaper. We will tell you that.
We leave from three points: ACI Marina Split, Split Riva, and a private marina near the airport at Divulje, ten minutes by taxi from arrivals.
The season is May to October. May and early June: green islands, quiet harbours, sea around 20°C, low-season prices. July and August: hot, flat mornings, and real crowds at Blue Cave and Hvar Town. September is the best month we have — warm water, fewer boats. October is a gamble on wind.
Every price includes the skipper, 25% VAT, towels, cold drinks, snorkelling masks and fins, hardtop shade and a cabin with WC. Fuel is not included. We bill it at the end of the day on what you actually burn, typically €150–300. Konoba lunch we book, you pay direct, usually €40–60 per person.
Picking between the six: Hvar & Pakleni if it is your first time. Blue Cave & Vis if the cave is the point — go early, the queue builds by noon. Bol & Brač for our home island and Zlatni Rat. Carpe Diem for a beach club day on Stipanska. Trogir & Blue Lagoon at 4.5 hours for young kids or a short window. Or send us your day and we will price a Custom Day.

Private Boat Tours from Split: Common Questions
How much does a private boat tour from Split cost?
- Between €500 and €1350 per boat, depending on the trip and the month. Trogir & Blue Lagoon at 4.5 hours is €500 in low season. Blue Cave & Vis at 8 hours is €1350 in August. Hvar & Pakleni, the trip most people take, runs €800 to €950. Add fuel (€150–300) and lunch if you eat ashore.
Is the price per boat or per person?
- Per boat, up to 8 guests. A €800 day split between six is about €133 each; split between eight it is €100. Group tours charge around €120 per person and you share it with everyone else who booked. If there are two or three of you, a group tour will be cheaper — we would rather say so than talk you into a charter.
Is fuel included in the price?
- No. Fuel is billed at the end of the day on what your route actually burned, typically €150–300. A short Trogir run uses far less than an open crossing to Vis. Operators who bundle fuel into the headline price build in the worst case; we charge what the day cost.
Can we choose our own itinerary?
- Yes. The six routes are starting points, not timetables. Skip Hvar Town, swap in a quieter bay, add an hour, stay out for sunset — tell the skipper in the morning, or change your mind at noon. If your day looks nothing like the six routes, book the Custom Day (6–10 hours, €900) and we plan it with you. The only limits are weather, fuel range and daylight.
What if it is windy on the day?
- The Adriatic gets bura and jugo even in July. We check the forecast the evening before and call you. Sometimes it is a route change — Šolta and the Split channel instead of a crossing to Vis. Sometimes it is a cancellation. If we cancel for weather, your 30% deposit is refunded in full, no fees. We will not run a day that is miserable on the water.
How far ahead should we book a private boat tour from Split?
- For July and August, six to eight weeks. We have two boats and two skippers, and Saturdays go first. May, June, September and October are usually fine two weeks out, sometimes two days. Deposit is 30% online via Stripe, balance on the day. We reply within an hour between 08:00 and 22:00 in season, in English, Croatian, German or Polish.
