Where exactly do we meet after we land at Split airport?
- Not at the terminal. Our pontoon is at a private marina in the Divulje/Resnik area, about a 10-minute taxi from arrivals — the drivers on the rank know it. Once your 30% deposit clears we send a map pin, the pontoon number and your skipper's mobile. He's at the boat from your landing time and takes the bags. Then 50 minutes on the water to Hvar Town's harbour, stepping off in the middle of town.
What happens if our flight is delayed?
- Give us the flight number at booking — we track it and move the meeting time ourselves, no message needed. A delay costs you nothing; the skipper waits. Two honest caveats. Land after 21:00 and a 25% night surcharge applies: €147.50 on the €590 Saxdor. Darkness itself is no problem — the boat carries an infrared night camera and we run this crossing after dark. If the flight is cancelled outright, the transfer and your deposit move to your new landing time.
Is this faster than taking the catamaran from Split?
- Door to door, yes — but here is the honest version. Airport to Split's ferry port is 30–50 minutes by bus or taxi in August traffic, then you wait for the next Split–Hvar catamaran (a handful of departures a day), then an hour at sea, then queue to step off. Realistically 3–5 hours. Ours is a 10-minute taxi plus 50 minutes on the water. If your landing lines up with a departure and you travel light, take the catamaran — it costs a fraction of €590.
How much luggage fits on the boat?
- For four people with four hold cases plus cabin bags, either boat works. On the Saxdor 320 GTO the bags go in the cabin, dry and out of the way. The GT7 at €410 is an open RIB — luggage rides on deck under covers, so expect salt spray on the shells. The one combination that gets tight is eight guests with eight large cases — that's the Saxdor at €590, and if they're oversized, two runs. Tell us the real bag count and we'll say which boat.
