Where exactly do we meet in Split, and how does the pickup work?

Two pickup points in town: ACI Marina Split — a taxi drops you at the gate, easiest with luggage — or the Riva pier in front of the old town. After booking you get an exact pin and your skipper's mobile. He's at the boat fifteen minutes before departure and takes the bags as you board. Coming straight off an SPU arrival? Use our airport route instead, from the private marina at Divulje, ten minutes by taxi from the terminal.

What happens if my flight into Split is delayed?

Send your flight number with the booking and we track it. Land late and the skipper waits — a delay we can see on the tracker costs you nothing, we just re-time the crossing. After 21:00 a 25% night surcharge applies. The Saxdor carries an IR thermal night camera, so the run to Hvar in the dark is routine. If the delay kills the evening entirely, we move you to the first morning slot at no extra charge. Message us on WhatsApp as soon as you know.

Is this really faster than the catamaran to Hvar Town?

Door to door, yes. Catamaran: at the terminal 30–45 minutes early in July and August, an hour at sea, then a slow walk off a crowded pier. Call it two hours, on their timetable. Ours: five minutes at the pontoon, 50 minutes across, off at Hvar Town's central quay — about an hour, at your time. For two people travelling light the catamaran is cheaper, and we'll say so. €490 for the boat pays off at four to eight guests, with luggage, or for a dinner return no ferry covers.

How much luggage fits, and where do we land in Hvar Town?

On the Saxdor 320 GTO: one large case plus a cabin bag each for up to six people — cases go in the cabin and under the bow seats, out of the spray. Eight adults with eight hard-shells is tight, so send the bag count and we'll plan it or split you across both boats. The GT7 is an open RIB, 30% cheaper: luggage rides exposed, so soft bags travel better. We land at Hvar Town's central quay, minutes from most hotels. No cars in the old town — bring wheels for stone.
